I just finished eating lunch and I am stuffed. I made Chicken Piccata (chicken paillards w/ lemon and caper sauce) and had leftovers today for lunch. And, I ate too much... But, it's so, so good! Yummo!
Now however, I need a nap. I think the US should embrace that whole siesta concept, don't you? Especially for those of us who are genetically predisposed to napping.

There is a new book out revealing the benefits of an afternoon nap. The research indicates that a twenty minute nap between one and three daily is most advantageous for alertness and energy.
I obviously have missed way to many naps.
Truth is that if I can doze for just a few minutes in the afternoon I do feel much better and get more done, any longer i become a big slug.
So it seems te research has proven what I've known for years. Nice to be validated.
P.S you and Natalie do have very similar taste in glasses.

Yes mom - in fact, I think it was you that instilled in my the love of naps from long ago. I always remember that you could lay down on the couch for 10-15 mins and it would re-energize you like the "Energizer Bunny"! LOL.
See, I haven't completely changed - and I do give credit where credit is due!
